Protein Analysis Using Two-Dimensional Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis (2D-PAGE)
ITSIBIO »
ITSI – Biosciences also offers SDS PAGE, large format Two Dimensional – Difference in Gel Electrophoresis (2D-DIGE) and 1D/2D Western Blotting services. SDS PAGE can be performed with a mini gel or the Agilent BioAnalyzer and biochip. In each case, an automated software program is used to detect, quantify and annotate the protein bands.
We can also screen for phosphoproteins, by staining the 2D-PAGE gels with a phosphor protein stain. The 1D and 2D Gels can also be blotted by western transfer and screened with antibodies supplied by the client.
