The HomeTest DNA kit™ is unique because it can be used for paternity, maternity, sibling (brother/sister), avuncular (aunt/uncle) or grandparent test.
Only 4 steps required:
Step 1: Order this kit.
Step 2: Email (hometest@itsibio.com) to register the kit, indicate the test you need and obtain the lab fee for the desired test.
Step 3: Follow instructions enclosed in this kit to collect DNA and send the collected sample to the laboratory.
Step 4: Get results anyway you want (email, text, or regular mail) in 2 - 5 business days.
DNA Sample can be collected from infants and adults of any age. The kit provides materials to test three (3) people.
Sample collection is very simple and painless, because the test relies on cheek cells collected with sterile cotton swabs.
Analysis of sample is carried out in a dedicated DNA testing laboratory that holds ISO17025:2017, AABB and CLIA accreditations.
The kit can be shipped to most locations.
Most results are ready in 2 – 5 business days after the sample is received.
All kits contain the following items:

| Instruction | Provides instructions for collection and returning of DNA samples. |
| Sterile cotton swab | Used for collection of buccal DNA samples. Each swab has a wooden handle and cotton at one end. |
| Collected DNA envelope | Used for storage of the STERILE COTTON SWAB after it has been used to collect DNA from each person. The envelope is self-seal. |
| Security seal | Used to seal the COLLECTED DNA ENVELOPE after placing swabs with DNA inside. It is a tamper evident security tape. |
| Sample return envelope | Used to return the sample to the Laboratory. The envelope is self-seal and addressed to the laboratory. |
